Action Project Reflection

In Global Issues, we helped many of the middle schoolers understand what is happening with shark's fins by having many activities and videos that give facts about it. I think we made a difference by categorizing the games by having good games, that are against the crucial slaughtering of the sharks and then we have the bad games, that are supporting it. I do think that we did raise enough awareness because many people understood that it was not the right thing to do. If I could do this action project again, I would have more videos that were like the one with the lady that was screaming and crying because there wasn't any more shark fin soup. What I have learned about action projects is that you control it and it is up to you to make awareness for other people. What I learned about sharks is that every year about 73 million of them are killed for their fins.
