The human rights that are being denied to the children of Haiti after the earthquake was that they could not have food or shelter. The action that is being taken to address this is that the U.N. and the U.S. military forces are coming to help bring food and water. They are also helping on reconstruction. The difficulties faced by this country as it tries to recover from the earthquake are that all of the people were hungry and didn't have food and so some of the people would start to be aggressive when the U.N. and the U.S. military come to give it to them. Some countries can rebuild faster than others because some have much higher technology when it comes to construction tools. Because Haiti has natural disasters and political problems, Haiti is put at a disadvantage. This country will cope in the forthcoming years by becoming organized. This makes it easier for the other countries to help Haiti.
I got frustrated a lot while playing this game because I kept on getting in the negatives with my money. And the parents would always die and I couldn't get past the first year.I would explain this game to a friend by saying that I think that it is very challenging because you have to keep everyone happy, keep them healthy, educate them, and you need money! I would also say that you should probably strategize well and choose the right things to buy. The 'primary objective' that I choose was health because it is the most important because if you don't have enough or you don't do anything about it, everyone will die. The types of decisions that I had to make about the family members while playing the game and trying to achieve my goals was for an example, it said "Would you like to spend all of your money on this celebration" or "Would you just like to have a simple celebration". I choose the second one because it helps save money and it is still a celebration so that choice includes all of the 'primary objectives'. A strategy that I used was choosing the right decision because if you don't do this, it can make you go into the negatives in your money. Another strategy that I used that didn't work was sending everyone to school and work when I didn't have enough money for it. The parents would devote so much effort sending their children to school so that they could get married to an educated person and then this would help you to get more money. The obstacles that I faced in trying to keep the children in school were that I would either run out of money or I don't have enough money from the start. Access to education is a huge challenge for LEDC's to try to develop because
maybe some of the people don't have enough money to pay for it or the country just doesn't have an opportunity to build a school. It is vital to a country's development to educate its people (especially woman) because the more educated they are, the more developed the country is because they can help each other. Some ways that countries could prioritize education, even for women, even in the countryside is by having the country organized, then it wouldn't be so hard to develop a school.
